Biography
Adriana Crawford is a journalism student based in Mandeville, Louisiana. She is currently studying Journalism and Media Communication at Colorado State University, where she focuses on reporting, storytelling, and understanding the responsibilities that come with sharing information.
She is in her junior year and has hands‑on experience in journalism. In high school, she wrote for the school newspaper and eventually became one of the editors, which introduced her to interviewing, editing, and managing content. She also participated in her school’s creative writing club, where she explored narrative voice and creative expression. These experiences helped shape her interest in communication and showed her how meaningful stories can be when they are handled thoughtfully.
Adriana is pursuing journalism because she believes in accuracy, fairness, and being mindful of how information affects people. She wants her work to reflect responsibility and respect for the communities she reports on. Her goal is to contribute journalism that helps people understand the world more clearly and encourages thoughtful conversation.
Outside of academics, Adriana enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new creative projects, and finding activities that help her grow personally and professionally. She also loves reading and discovering new films.
